The judge said- I have not seen such a case in 30 years
CBI said evidence was destroyed at the crime scene
Many shocking revelations in the CBI report
Kolkata Rape Murder Case: Morning time. In the Supreme Court, Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra are currently reading the status report of the Kolkata junior doctor case, which the CBI had handed over to them in a sealed envelope a while ago. The three justices kept reading this status report of several pages for a long time. Since this status report is currently confidential, all three read it silently. This was the report in which the initial truth of the murder and rape or gang rape of the junior doctor of Kolkata was written. In this report, the CBI had written the complete report of its investigation so far. Before the court proceedings ended, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who was pleading on behalf of the government, formally appealed to the court to seal this status report back in the envelope and keep it in the court’s custody.
Kolkata rape-murder case
Dozens of lawyers from both sides were present inside the court. But even they did not get a chance to read or see this status report of the CBI. The reason was that the investigation is still going on and the disclosure of this status report may affect the investigation. But obviously the whole country was watching the live streaming of this entire Supreme Court proceeding through social media and media. With the hope that what investigation did the CBI do in this case in the last ten days, what is the truth of this case and how similar or different is the investigation of Kolkata Police from the investigation of the CBI? But since the status report was extremely confidential, the answers to these questions could not be revealed.
CBI said the crime scene was changed
It is not known what is inside this status report of CBI submitted to the Supreme Court.. but the information that Crime Tak has received from CBI sources is very shocking. So leaving the status report aside, let us tell you what conclusion the CBI has reached regarding this case after the investigation of the last 10 days. So according to the information received by Crime Tak from CBI sources, the junior doctor of RJ Kar Hospital was not gang-raped. Rather, this is a case of rape. And the one who raped and murdered the junior doctor after the rape was Sanjay Roy. The same Sanjay Roy who was arrested by Kolkata Police on 9 August itself. And the same Sanjay Roy who is currently in CBI custody.
I have not seen such a case in 30 years
According to sources, the line of investigation of Kolkata Police and then CBI was the same regarding the scene of crime i.e. the seminar hall. Actually, only one suspect was seen in the CCTV footage going towards the seminar hall. And that was Sanjay Roy. Apart from this, no suspect was seen going towards the seminar hall from 3 am to 5:30 am. Most of the people who were seen passing by in the camera were seen busy in their respective wards or their work within three to five minutes. The proof of which was given by the CCTV cameras installed at those places. That is, there was only one Sanjay Roy who stayed in the seminar hall for more than 40 minutes. The Bluetooth neckband recovered from the seminar hall and its connection with Sanjay Roy’s mobile also became an important evidence in this case.
Doubt on the role of police
According to sources, Sanjay Roy had confessed his crime to Kolkata Police on 9th August itself. After this, when he went into CBI custody on 14th August, he not only confessed his crime, but also told the entire story of the night and morning of the incident. But despite the confession of the accused, first Kolkata Police and then CBI were looking for concrete evidence. And this search ended on the forensic report. According to sources, Central Forensic Science Lab Kolkata has submitted its report to CBI. This report was awaited because it was to be known whether the case was of rape or gang rape. And the forensic report gave the answer to this.
Sanjay Roy’s DNA profile matched
According to the forensic report received by the CBI, the DNA profiles of the victim and the accused i.e. Sanjay Roy matched. Not only this, the forensic investigation did not find DNA profile of anyone other than Sanjay Roy in the private parts of the victim. This means that the victim was raped. Not gangraped. This means that at least Sanjay Roy alone was involved in the rape case. And during this rape, Sanjay Roy killed the junior doctor. This means that the CBI report is exactly the same as what came out in the initial four days of investigation by the Kolkata Police. Now the question is why the CBI has not disclosed its investigation till now?
So according to sources, there are still many aspects left in this case, which are still under investigation. Actually, CBI is trying to find out whether any attempt was made to erase the evidence from the crime scene after the incident. Was the FIR filed deliberately late? Did the principal hatch any conspiracy to hush up the case? And was all this done to save his and the hospital’s reputation? This is the reason why for the last five days, CBI is continuously questioning the hospital’s principal Sandeep Ghosh by conducting RG. This questioning is being done to connect the links of all the negligence after the incident. And if CBI sources are to be believed, if evidence is found that evidence was tampered with inside the hospital premises from the morning of August 9 to the night, then CBI can also arrest Principal Ghosh on this charge.
How many accused committed the crime
The Supreme Court today also raised several questions regarding the delay and negligence on the part of the hospital administration on the day of the incident i.e. 9 August. The court was repeatedly asking when the DD entry was made on the day of the incident, when the case diary was registered, when the FIR was written, at what time the postmortem was done, when the body was handed over to the family, when the last rites were performed, at what time the Panchnama was done. During the hearing, Chief Justice DY Chandrachud said that the DD entry was registered at 10:10 am, while the FIR was written at 11:30 pm. This is disturbing. Along with this, Justice Pardiwala asked Kapil Sibal, the lawyer of the West Bengal government, that when you took the body for postmortem, was it a case of unnatural death or not? If it was not an unnatural death, then what was the need for postmortem? He said that you tell me that before the FIR, when did you mention in the police diary that it was an unnatural death?
Know who all are included
Justice Pardiwala said that the unnatural death was registered at 11:30 pm and the FIR at 11:45 pm, is this fact correct? On this, West Bengal government’s lawyer Kapil Sibal said that the postmortem took place between 6 and 7 pm and the unnatural death was registered at 1:45 pm. On this, the Supreme Court said that how can we match both the reports? It is surprising that postmortem takes place before the registration of unnatural death. The court seemed very angry with the attitude of the West Bengal government and especially the police. The Chief Justice said – you see in your documents, the entry in the police diary is of 5:20 am. The police was informed by the hospital at 10:10 am that a woman was lying in a semi-nude state. The medical board gave the opinion that she was raped and the police’s GD entry shows that the crime scene was cordoned off after the postmortem.
The court said how can this happen?
Justice Pardiwala angrily said that he had never seen the way the state government acted in this case in his 30 years of career. He also questioned the role of the assistant superintendent of the hospital and said that her conduct was suspicious. On this, Kapil Sibal said that she is a woman. On Thursday, the timeline of the case was submitted by both Kolkata Police and CBI in the Supreme Court. But the Supreme Court expressed surprise that the timing of the sequence in the timeline of both is different. The court said that how can this happen? Dr. Sandeep Ghosh, Principal of RG Kar Medical College, will now have to face a polygraph test. Along with this, the CBI will also question the four doctor friends of the trainee doctor who saw her alive for the last time, i.e., who had dinner with her, through a polygraph test.
CBI will ask questions through polygraph test
On Thursday, the CBI had applied for polygraph test of these five in Kolkata’s Siyadh court, which was accepted by the court. In the initial investigation of the CBI, it became clear that only one person was involved in the rape and murder of the trainee doctor of RG Kar Hospital on the intervening night of 8 and 9 August. Sanjay Roy. But after this incident came to light, did the Principal of RG Kar College, Dr. Sandeep Ghosh, deliberately try to hush up the matter? Did he deliberately spoil the scene of crime? And did he put pressure on the police to be lax in this matter? If yes, then why? To get to the bottom of such questions, the CBI today reached Kolkata’s Siyadh court with Dr. Sandeep Ghosh, where an application for his polygraph test was given. Which was accepted by the court.
A request for a polygraph test was made
CBI has already questioned all the four doctors in this connection apart from Dr. Sandeep Ghosh. But some contradictions have come to light in this questioning, after which CBI feels that perhaps the people associated with this case are reluctant to reveal everything openly. This is the reason why CBI wants to make them reveal the secrets buried in their hearts through polygraph test. Dr. Sandeep Ghosh appeared at CGO Complex in Kolkata on Thursday also to face the questions of CBI. This is the seventh consecutive day of his questioning. Earlier on Wednesday, CBI searched and inspected Dr. Ghosh’s car. His driver was also questioned.
Was all this drama created to save Sanjay Roy?
Dr. Ghosh uses a vehicle of the Health Ministry. The CBI is trying to understand whether Dr. Ghosh misused his vehicle to destroy evidence. Whether he had any role in carrying or hiding any goods. The CBI has already taken permission for a polygraph test of Sanjay Roy, the only arrested accused in this case. This means that the CBI may soon conduct a polygraph test of Sanjay Roy as well. Obviously, there is an attempt to hide something in this case, that is why the CBI is resorting to this technique. Actually, the way attempts were made to destroy evidence after the murder, it was suspected that perhaps the principal of the medical college, Dr. Ghosh, created this entire drama to save Sanjay Roy. This means that the CBI is now trying to find out the connection between Roy and Ghosh.
